A cosy day when it rains.

In the morning the sky is grey and thick clouds cover the sun.

Soon it starts to rain. The drops tap on the window and on the roof. I like this soft sound.

I stay inside with my family. My little sister makes tea and we sit on the sofa. I read a short story in English.

Later the wind moves the trees outside. The air feels cool and clean. When the rain stops I open the door and smell the wet earth.

I think a rainy day can be warm and quiet too — not bad, just slow.
